A beautiful villa in Tuscany
After a short drive on a gravel road surrounded by oak trees, suddenly the wood ends and Iperbole country house appears in the distance: an ancient impressive stone house sitting on a hill facing the sunset in the most beautiful landscape of rolling hills and hill top villages, backed by magnificent Mount Amiata, Tuscany’s highest mountain.
This wonderful view can be enjoyed from the house and garden and most of all from the tower that dominates these ancient walls.
The Villa has been recently restored combining traditional materials as old cotto for the floors and oak beams for the ceilings with vintage furniture and contemporary art works.
The insulated large walls and the ventilated roof keep the house naturally cool during hot summer months. All kitchenware is highly professional making the preparation of meals a real pleasure. The house sleeps comfortably 9 people in 4 double bedrooms and 1 single each with its own bathroom.
The living area on the ground floor is very large with a kitchen area on one side, two dining tables accomodating up to16 guests and a sitting area at the opposite side with a charming stone fireplace and doors with direct access to the straw sheltered stone paved patio where a long table accomodates up to 20 guests.
I live on the premises with my family and I will be glad to share infos about the area with you.
